Excite Bike's stage camera barely moves vertically more than about an inch, so characters with a Super Jump should be prepared to shoot off the top of the screen upon using it. Combatants fight on the grass verge in front of the track while what seems to be a race goes on behind them, though the bikes going along the track at different speeds calls into question whether it is indeed a race or simply an exhibition of the bikers several NPCs that featured in the source game can also be seen doing their typical thing on the far side of the track, with the cameraman in the centre, the guy giving the thumbs up to racers on the left and the two onlookers that take it in turns to squat down on the right. God Ryu's Excite Bike stage is visually identical to the first track found in the original Excitebike for the NES, though it forgoes any of the jump ramps or mud patches typically found in the course in favour of the track being entirely flat.
